Long Weekend in Northern Ontario

last weekend was a long weekend in Canada due to the 1st of July, Canada Day

it was our first anniversary as well

and we made a road-trip to go camping in Northern Ontario

I had to share these tons of pictures with you ~ smile

we stayed at a campsite with an uncommon but nice sandy beach, they are usually stones or rocks


the sunset was amazing every evening


and the chipmunks were everywhere and funny

on the night of our anniversary we went out for dinner


and climbed a tower in Parry Sound on Georgian Bay, to see the July 1st fireworks from great height


boats from surrounding waters gathered in the bay, such a lovely sight


the sunset and moon-rise was amazing and the view from the tower... well, see for yourself

we found a crazy collection of items in a barn shop down the road

old, new, vintage, used, rusted, shiny... just about anything you can imagine

good for lovely photo shoot

cute wooden church we saw and a very lovely terrace for lunch

oh and just in case you were wondering : no, I did not photograph around the rain and storms

we indeed had the most fabulous weather with a lovely 25-30 C and a slight breeze

needless to say, we enjoyed this camping trip and can't wait to get more of this!
