crochet-wise last week was all about the scarf that I finished, except for the ends to weave in. I played with little pieces of wood and glued them to a white board for display. healthy lunches, slow coffee, grey days, it is what January looks like in The Netherlands. I try to lift the spirits with flowers from the local market, candle light and cozy crochet.
tomorrow I'll show you some new yarn that I plan to use for a little Valentine's project…
have a great new week and keep up the spirit if you're in grey days too.
xo
I don't know if this may comfort you, but even in JK is very grey right now, with a lot of rain!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe you are still in the midst of winter when it is so hot over here right now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - I love your flowers and I really like your brick wall. Those long thin bricks are my favourite for some reason, do you know how old they might be?
I'm really fond of teal at the moment, so I'm loving how you've paired it with the mustard yellow. Such an uplifting colour combo! x x
Such a lovely blog you have Maaike! Here in Brussels the days are a tad dreary, rainy and grey, so thank heavens for yarn ;-) I love the scarf you're making, especially the pompom ends! Have a lovely week x
ReplyDeleteWat een mooie kleurencombi op het whiteboard, een perfecte combi voor mijn schoondochter.
ReplyDeleteBen benieuwd naar het nieuwe garen en het valentijnsidee.
groet, Arianne
Thanks for the beautiful pictures! Today is a gray day as we're expecting snow here in my corner of the US. Your creativity is inspiring!
ReplyDeleteYou make the most of the grey weather - it actually looks rather inviting the way you capture it and it's wintry comforts! Chrissie x
