Sewing class #3

goodmorning happy Sunday
my first running exercise in 2011, this morning, will make me smile and feel healthy for the rest of the week

this week in sewing class #3
we added a button, ribbon, did some more figure stitching and learned how to make that lovely edging


and before I get back behind the sewing machine, the owls have to show you something


 yes, we are the new owls Maaike got from a dear colleague
and we happen to match with the fabric and ribbons she ordered online at Stefanie Style on Etsy
look at our friends, sitting happy in the tree with the birdies

    Hi Maaike! Lovely owls and your sewing is coming on very well. I have just done something really scary...I've orderd some fabric to attempt to make my first ever quilt! mmmmmmm wish I could find a quilting class xxx

    Well done! I'm glad to see you are enjoying your sewing classes. I had my first class on Tuesday and I learnt how to sew a zip in. I have to practice more though as I'm not sure I remember everything.

    Je bent goed bezig met de machine, wat voor eentje is het? (ik ga morgen een eenvoudige kopen). En de uiltjes zijn zo cute!

    Bedankt voor de tip!! Bij ons volgende bezoekje in A'dam (jaaaa, voor ons is dat soort van een 'uitje' :-)) gaan we zeker bij de Home-afdeling langs! De uiltjes zijn erg cute trouwens!

    Hi Maaike,
    I would love to do a sewing class as I am self-taught and I probably commit horrible sins whenever I sew. It would be lovely to know how to do things the 'right' way. I adore that navy and red ribbon, and the little owls!
