Baby Boy

our friend's baby boy was born last week

and the blanket is finished just in time


blue and blue it is

in all shades


I love how the combination of different stitches worked out

and how the edging is worked around in the same colors, but clustered on the short ends


blanket and us, having a great time visiting wonderful family members today

~ wishing you a blue-sky-new-week ~

    Wauw! Die is mooi geworden!
    Ik ben echt een grote fan van de kleur blauw ... Ik moet echt oppassen dat ik niet teveel in het blauw maak. Iedere keer kom ik toch weer terug op blauw.
    Nou nog een mooie strakke blauwe lucht ;)

    The blanket looks lovely and I am sure your friend will treasure it. I have over a chair in my hall a cot quilt that my friend made me when I had my baby still a very special item.

    This is gorgeous! I love it!
    I went to a shop to buy yarn for my son's blanket; blues and a splash of red but it was closed. Now I know what pattern to use and when I manage to buy the yarn, I'll be back here for inspiration!

    This is so beautiful! I have a 14 month old son and a nearly-five year old son- and think that this would be the loveliest blanket for them. Your friend will be very happy! :) What a treasure for her baby boy.
