My Birthday!

it is my 30th birthday!

yesterday my parents and I made this Swedish princess cake

a beauty, if I may say so myself

this is by far the prettiest cake I ever made

for the roses I used this video ~ actually very simple

I am spoiled with beautiful gifts

ribbons ~ new and vintage

a beautiful hand written card from my littlest Canadian friend M ~ Andrea's son

she is lucky to have such a cute family

and I am lucky to have them as my friends

this amazing wedding shawl is made by my lovely aunt, I feel so special!

the beautiful look-book I got from Andrea, along with beautiful ribbon and vintage knitting patterns

I am very thankful to be able to celebrate my first Canadian birthday with these wonderful people around me

and it even snowed a little today...
