regarding the previous post
thank you all for the warm welcome to the Miami Beach blanket!
to answer your questions:
* yes, it works for me to draw a design first,
to get an idea of where I am going and see if I have enough yarn in stock, nothing more frustrating to me than working on a crochet or knit project and realize halfway that I don't have enough yarn to finish it
* no, I don't use a crochet book to try out new stitches, I am still satisfied with single, double and treble crochet and the possibility those stitches give me. I do have some new stitches in my Pinterest Board

* those are indeed Sharpies, I got myself a set in the USA and I love to use them for my designs,
because their colors match the intensity of the cotton yarn I use
~
it is Friday
almost weekend
and I am playing around with tape, cups and yarn
this home is still becoming more our home every day
and I love to see the progress
over time I have ordered quite a few Farrow and Ball wallpaper samples
they are perfect for little craft projects
and match my currently favorite cups
these three are almost a perfect set
except the yellow cup is missing a yellow saucer
but I love perfection in imperfection
so yummy these colors
my kind of eye candy
and a hint of spring and Easter too
I am looking forward to a nice weekend
of course I will add some lines to the Miami Beach blanket
we have a sweet boy's birthday party and a dinner on Saturday with good friends
and a big new addition comes to our home on Monday... I almost can not wait to tell you... pure joy for me
~
wishing you a great weekend too!

Ahh, these pictures are just so beautiful, a fresh breath of spring! Love the Miami blanket, you are very creative with just three stitches! And the colour combination is just spot on. Love your idea of the wallpaper samples - very clever way to get some lovely papers for little creations. Can't wait to see what you do with them!

Love visiting at your place. I know what you mean about seeing house become more your home every day. I recently married this past July and even though the house is well on its way after 8 months, there are still many little happy touches yet to be added. I love nesting!
