the shawl progresses, I started some flowers with the left over yarns for a brooch may be, with a little help from this book and this book. and the card I received from a dear friend, isn't it cute and thoughtful? I can totally picture Floyd peacefully knitting my new pair of cozy socks.
until then, wishing you a happy weekend!
Your shawl and your roses are looking beautiful. Love the colours. xx
ReplyDeleteOooh, gezellig! Happy weekend, you too!

ReplyDeletehappy weekend, xxxx Ale
I love the colours and ypur photos..
ReplyDeleteLove this post. Love looking at crochet WiP's... Darn cute card. Suddenly Floyd turned in to animated dog in my imagination, raising his eyebrows and his ear and making a funny noise as he got disturbed in his deeply concentrated crochet work with big paws holding on to hook and letting the yarn tickle through his toes.... Ha ha ha!

Every time I receive notification of a new post of yours I feel the happiest on earth! Thanks so much :)
ReplyDeleteThis time I have two (apparently silly) questions: will you sew the roses, needle and thread, or use something else? I've seen many people using glue so that roses "petals" don't fall down, but I feel this is really "industrial" and I find the final result a bit "disturbing". What do you think?
And... your amazing scissors. I have exactly the same, who belonged to my beloved grandma and date back to 1930. I don't want to "paint" them, but I'd love to have a colored pair like yours. Suggestions? ;-)
Thank you very much indeed! ciao from Italy :-)
Hello! Your new shawl in progress looks very very nice! I love your choice of colors!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time! Jolana
