Chicago
a new city on my list of favorites
this is my last post about this visit
but I can continue for weeks ~ I think this city is very photogenic and pretty so I took hundreds of pictures
from beautiful downtown and it's metro stations
to lovely neighborhoods like Wicker Park, Bucktown, Old Town and Lincoln Park
I can recommend it all
lunch at cafe Milk and Honey ~ across the street from Nina's beautiful shop, a perfect combination
coffee and sweets at TipsyCake
take out dinner from the Goddess and Grocer
fill your home with flowers from a new leaf
and I must admit
both these pretty homes and the gorgeous flower shop do remind me of Amsterdam...
bye bye beautiful Chicago ~ hope to see you again soon
~
for you sweeties in the Netherlands, enjoy the amazing winter weather, ice skating and sun
wishing you all an amazing weekend!

This is my city, it's where I am from and live! I must say you picked a handful of the best places to eat and shop...some of my faves. Glad you enjoyed your visit!

I love Chicago too, my favorite town. I grew up in Chicago and the city is very different now than it was in the 60's . @0 years ago I would never have walked around Wicker Park or Bucktown, but now I love to take long walks around the city. My son lives in Hyde Park [ by University of Chicago] and my brother lives in Bucktown. Glad you enjoyed the city. I hope to be walking the sidewalks and soaking all of the beautiful city in around tulip time.
