Finished Blanket

you got a sneak peek yesterday

and here it is

the finished blanket!

110 squares of each about 3.5 inch, 9 cm

16 colors

weighing about 700 grams

inspired by the Dutch-Canadian blanket I made last year

but in a different color scheme to match the soon to be born girl's room

wrapped and shipped in coordinated wrapping

I absolutely love this blanket and how it turned out, I enjoyed making it, it certainly is one of my faves so far

it is supposed to arrive at it's new owner this week... so exciting to hear what she thinks of it!

~

and now I'm off, working on the new blanket for our very own niece

more about the new blanket, NY city and Purl Bee, and the charity blankets in the next days

  1. Such cheerful colours and I love the edging!
    P.S.
... but I don't love the word verifications which I often have to try and decipher more than once...!
