welcome to a new week and a new month
the fourth quarter of 2012 is already here!
can you believe it?
last week I received the sample book of a possible new yarn supplier for my shop
I finished the baby boy knitted blanket and lay out some fabrics for the backing of my crochet cushions
I also finished the wrist cozy's and their pattern
enjoyed my morning drinks at home
and I flew to warm Chicago for my friend's baby shower
there is something special about traveling by myself, it has to do with my sense of freedom
do you experience that too?
beautiful sunset in our neighborhood, as well as pretty Fall trees
and the chocolate cake I brought with me to the baby shower, as well as the wrapped blanket
it was one happy, perfect afternoon we had yesterday when celebrating my pregnant friend
~
I am ready for another beautiful day in Chicago, and happy to see Nina and her beautiful shop again
as well as the event with Stephen West she has going on tonight, I hope to see you there!

ReplyDeleteThank you Deb! The pattern is not mine, it's from the blog millemakes.wordpress.com. Although I tweaked the pattern a bit to my style, it is very much the same. I hope to get in touch with her soon to see if I can do a re-post of the pattern here on my blog. I will do a blog post about them soon!
