Monday Inspiration

thank you for all your great reactions to the new postcards in my shop, and the give away I am hosting! there is still time to join, so if you'd like to find out more about it, click here.

as you can see in my instagram pictures above, last weekend we put the clock back for an hour, and slowly we are rolling into shorter and colder days. My crochet work is moving closer to the fire place, and blankets are coming out one by one too. Other than that, last week I was very happy to receive the Delft Blue heart from my mom in the mail, I cut a branch of the apple tree in our garden to enjoy indoors, I am weaving in ends of a big project to be revealed in a week or two, I ripped a lamp shade cover and actually like the bone structure so will leave it like this for now, and I have been playing with the postcards and my camera.

if you are on Facebook, you may know the Yarnbomb Consortium. if not, I would like to introduce them to you. they regularly upload pictures of artwork, often made with yarn, that is mostly different, unexpected, out of the box, completely not my style sometimes, unconventional, sometimes provoking, and often inspiring.
but what I probably like best is they upload a daily "song to stitch to" that most days really gets me in the mood for stitching, or at least gets me going in general. today they picked don't worry be happy by Bobby McFerrin with a funny little video. and that is just perfect for a Monday, isn't it? well at least it made me smile and I have put it on repeat for a while, haha. How about you and music while you're working with yarn and needles?

happy day to you
