Hooky Goodness

crochet goodness last week; I am making good progress with the little flower squares. also ran out of yarn, but picked up some more yesterday so definitely getting close to finishing this cushion cover and tutorial for you too. I made a little sample for a custom pattern and yarn order; Miami Beach pattern in colours like the Lieke blanket. lovely and fresh, don't you think?
and I broke my own rule. when I learned to crochet, now 3 years ago, I swore never to make doilies and potholders. that would be too stereotype and granny-like. but I couldn't resist getting some pretty pattern magazines from the old days at the thrift store the other day and as you can see, I did it. I made a doily. and I even enjoyed making it. can you believe it? guess I am officially a granny now, at age 31...

a lot of pretty roses crossed my path last week and I had the best time with friends during a silk screen printing workshop on Saturday. more about these projects in separate posts.

  3. Enig! En allemaal van die frisse kleuren, enig. Bijzondere witte granny squares, mooi patroon.

  4. I love the doily! But really, it's far too colourful to be mistaken for the ones our grannies made.

  5. Wow wow wow!
